Choose Me
Published on: December 9, 2023
I prayed for a while yesterday before I listened to an NDE online. I continue to ask the Lord for wisdom and have been experiencing more of the Fear of the Lord, which is “the beginning and choice part of wisdom.” Prov 1:7. The man on utube described an encounter with King Jesus but he didn’t recognize him. He called him “The Divine” and He came to him swiftly as he froze to death climbing in the Canadian Rockies.
The man was very articulate and deeply touched by his encounter but he never mentioned the name of Jesus. I know it was Him because He told him He always knew him and this is consistent with the Bible. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you…” Jer 1:5. This man then asked if he could return to the earth because his parents would be so distressed if he died before them. Suddenly many doors opened before the man and he heard two words.
“Choose Me,” Jesus said.
“No, I still want my own sense of self and my own creativity,” the man reported. He said this very nonchalantly, as if it was fine to make this totally destructive choice. In choosing Jesus, we actually come into our true identity and personality and our creativity flourishes!!
That was it. All the doors shut and he went down through one of them back into his body. He told his story online, said to empty your mind and follow eastern meditative practices and wrote a book about it. He said not to worry, that everyone will go to heaven. This is not true. Our foundation, the Bible, does not say this. I scrolled down through the comments and they were all positive.
All of them missed the King.
The way is narrow. “Enter through the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who are entering through it. But the gate is narrow and the way is straightened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are those who find it.” Matthew 7:13,14.
“I am the Door; anyone who enters in through Me will be saved (will live). He will come in and he will go out freely and will find pasture.” John 10:9
There is One Door to go through, one way to the Father and it truly is only through Christ Jesus Who was the only One Who died for us, was resurrected and ascended to place His holy blood on the mercy seat in heaven. He is the only One Who is passionately in love with us. He is the only Servant King and He’s coming back and the earth will tremble when He does.
Father God, help us to number our days and to pray Your Kingdom come, Your Will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Oh Beloved, you who have chosen Jesus, tell others about Him!
Shalom Shalom
