From Ephesians 1:4-6 today I give you this recap from our Bible study last week because it is SO good.

God joined us to Himself before He laid the foundation of the universe. Out of His great love He issued the order, our destiny, which is futile to avoid, that He would see us as holy in His eyes. Holiness is ownership because we are joined to Him through Christ. Not only that, but as far as He is concerned, we have an “unstained innocence” which is hard for us to grasp here.

Think of it as having no stain or residue from your past AT ALL. If your record stood before you and Him in heaven you would see the slate is wiped clean, as if there was never any accusation against you. God chooses to not read anything against us. The only thing that will remain is what He ordered and purely established about us from the beginning.

We are absolutely and completed cleared of ALL sin for ALL time by the Blood of Jesus.

Then further it states that we are His delightful children,which means we are highly pleasing to Him! And that it was ALWAYS His plan to adopt us through our union with Christ so His tremendous love that cascades over us would glorify His grace. God loves us as much as He loves His Son Jesus. The Word says it. That’s it.
We need to experience these revelations given to the Apostle Paul now. We have a hard time fully receiving this because of the warfare we experience here where answers don’t come speedily, or  bad and painful things happen though we love and follow Him. Meditate on these few verses until they start to sink into your heart. Even if you don’t “feel” loved or like His “delightful child” the truth is, you ARE loved and you ARE a delight to Him. It is absolute truth.
