Why should we practice the presence of Jesus? Because our main need here on earth is to know Him and let Him shine through us to those He has specifically placed in our path.

For example, last Thursday in the city I talked to a young woman who was homeless for 5 years and now lives with her brother in his apartment. Her name is Crystal and she crochets very pretty items, hats, gloves, even earrings. As I handed her bags of food she ran upstairs and brought down some of her work. She wanted me to pick a pair of earrings so I did. I made sure to wear them at our outreach this past weekend to honor her.

“May I take a picture of you with your earrings for our newsletter?” I asked. She agreed.

When I got back to the truck, I thought, what newsletter? We don’t have a newsletter! Where did that come from?

It came from Holy Spirit inside. He bubbled up through me to show me the next step on this journey.

He comes through all of us as we actively pursue His Presence. May we all LEAN IN more, day by day, to hear His precious voice of love and direction! Oh, He has SUCH GOOD PLANS AHEAD FOR ALL OF US, HIS BELOVED!
