The most effective weapon the enemy uses is to come against our mind. Evil speaks discouraging, hopeless, sad, tormenting phrases around us and we pick up on that wavelength and agree with it. We often don’t even KNOW we are doing this but the Lord will reveal it to us in order to continue the sanctification and healing process within our souls. The only way the enemy exerts power over us is because we are unaware of his workings. We need to wake up, recognize who’s talking and  punch him back. Take those thoughts captive, handcuff them and throw them into jail.

We have the armour available to put on every day. Ephesians 6:11-18.

When I hear the flapping jaws of the enemy I stand with my helmet of salvation on and I ask, what is Jesus saying right now? It requires a mind shift because Jesus is not saying evil things about us. Remember, the Lord corrects us in TRUTH as part of LOVE which at times is expressed in His discipline. We bring our minds under His Word! The entire time He wraps Himself around us because we are HIS.

Say this in agreement as we all stand together today.

“I make up my mind today that I have the mind of Christ! I am a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a dedicated nation, God’s own purchased, special person so I may set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him Who called me out of darkness into His marvelous light!” 1 Peter 2:9
