Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night. That’s often a time when we may feel God’s presence more strongly because our souls have been quiet for a while. Our mind, will and emotions have been asleep so our spirits come to the forefront. When our spirits lead our souls it’s a very good thing.

Our spirits have wonderful thoughts! Suddenly we think about how much we desire to see Jesus. The Word says that in God’s house there are many rooms. Whether that means mansions are available or huge rooms, I don’t know. I find I don’t actually care anymore. As Holy Spirit leads us we focus on just how amazing it will be to see HIM. As the psalmist David said, “One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for and (insistently) require; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord (in His presence) all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty (the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness) of the Lord and to meditate, consider and inquire in His temple.” Psalm 27:4 AMP.  As I focused on this I heard Him very specifically.

“That’s what I like,” He said.

When we love someone, we get to know their personality, what they like or dislike, and we accommodate ourselves to their desires because of love, right? How much more may we lavish our attention and love on Him?
