Very early this morning on my dog walk I passed by my neighbor’s sign which asked this question.

“Will your anchor hold?”

On the back it said Hebrews 6:19. I add most of verse 20 today also.

“We have this hope as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul (it cannot slip or break down under whoever steps out upon it – a hope) that reaches farther and enters into (the very CERTAINTY of the PRESENCE) within the veil, Where Jesus has entered in for us (in advance), a Forerunner having become a High Priest forever…”

We have this hope, that Jesus Christ is our firm and secure anchor for our souls. When our mind, will or emotions begin to swirl we may stop, breathe and say “Jesus, thank You that You are here with me right now. You are My Anchor and You hold me in the midst of anything that comes against me. I may slip but I declare that You CANNOT slip or break down no matter what I experience.  You broke through with Your Blood into the Presence of the Father in advance for me so that I am accepted and forgiven! How amazing this truth is! I stay rooted and grounded in You, My Hope, right now and forever. ”

Step out upon King Jesus today, into the certainty of His Presence with you right now. Let Him hold your heart no matter how broken it may feel.

He’s got you.
