New Vision
Published on: May 11, 2023

As I waited for the eye Dr for my check-up this morning things were very blurry because my right eye had been heavily dilated for the surgery yesterday. My left eye has always been weaker and so my right eye does all the heavy lifting to see. SUDDENLY everything cleared up as my right pupil zipped back into normal size and I could see clearly at a distance, which I’ve never been able to do before.

“You’re seeing better now probably than you have in years,” the Dr told me after my exam.

I drove home without glasses and it was such freedom!

Now I must wear readers for close-up work. I found an outlandish speckled pink and purple pair in a long rectangle shape in a drawer and they’re the perfect strength. Another “new look” that I would NOT have chosen.

I know God desires to give us all “new vision” for what lies ahead. He is excited to awaken this within us. Embrace the new, even if it looks somewhat bizarre, eccentric or far-out. Stay grounded in HIM and see where He takes you!
