We are to love God and our neighbors “as ourselves” and this morning I was pondering the immense intensity of Father God’s love for His kids. Yet I so often hear believers say they feel unworthy and they shift into self blame and negative labelling terms. The Father’s heart so yearns for all of us to just return to Him and receive His love which washes away all self condemnation. The Trinity decided before the world was set up to send Jesus to take care of the entire sin problem. As we gaze upon Him we are aware that we are saved, healed, delivered, set free. He even works within us when we are distracted!

As I feel more and more release and freedom from receiving Father’s love, I couldn’t help but be in awe of how great and wide and broad it is! Then He gave me the word for it.

“Ground breaking love” He said.

His love breaks up the hard ground, the soil of our hearts whether hard, thorny, or short rooted and dried up. His love is ground breaking and leaves us breathless in gratitude and awe. His love is the only thing that heals us down to the roots of non self love.

Pride’s got nothing to do with it. We are to love ourselves as He loves us. As you feel your heart soften toward others in your world, allow your heart to soften toward YOU too.

Our God is worthy. We are to honor Him, others and ourselves!

He is worth it! They are worth it! You are worth it!
